PRODUCT SUPPORT SLATED FOR PHASE-OUT
Fiscalsoft announces termination of support subscriptions for all "Micro" products.
LEXINGTON, KY - October 30, 2003
Fiscalsoft will begin phasing out all support for its "Micro" line of software products. This is the final step in a long ongoing process to phase-out the old products and product names. With the successful releases of FiscalExpress, FiscalTax and FiscalPay over the past two years, President and CEO Howard Chandler has made the decision to end support on each of the old "Micro" products. MicroTax has been upgraded to FiscalTax by all current users; over half of the MicroPay customers have been upgraded to FiscalPay.
"This is an effort to reduce the need for supporting software that really is outdated. With our new line of "Fiscal" products we now offer even better tools for the local government to stay in compliance with state (KRS's) and federal (IRS, SSA) guidelines and laws." This statement by FiscalSoft President and CEO Howard Chandler is a testament to the 20 year commitment FiscalSoft has made to the cities, counties and special districts of Kentucky for affordable fund based accounting, payroll, tax management and electronic filing software that performs as advertised.
